SOLVED! The mystery of Mary Celeste

SOLVED! The mystery of Mary Celeste

Hello everyone,

This is a brief announcement of the new website maryceleste.com,

Coming very soon (check often!) this site will promote the forthcoming book written by my father, Roger Campbell, my aunt Isabel Campbell, and my grandfather, George F. Campbell M.R.I.N.A.

George F. Campbell, the naval architect responsible for the plans and restoration of Cutty Sark, Wavetree, HMS Victory and author of several books on ships, provided the detailed architectural understanding and research for uncovering what really happened to Mary Celeste.

Isabel Campbell dug deep into federal, state, and local archives and posited and explanation of what happened at the Admiralty hearings in Gibraltar.  It was her inspiration to expand the Q.E.D. into a book.

Roger's work on the project includes a complete encyclopedia of all known facts about Mary Celeste - ships and people connected with her, the answer to the long debated question of how she got her name, a comprehensive bibliography and a maritime-line that includes missing voyages and conclusive proof that a "perfect hurricane" dogged the ship on her fatal voyage - all new information.  Includes a complete transcript of the Gibraltar hearings.

This is without doubt the most definitive work on the subject to data and is designed to enable others in further research.

Numerous illustrations by George F. Campbell including plans and technical drawings explaining the event, maps and new photographs relevant to the story.

We are planning on a private limited edition of 1,872 copies signed by the author.  If you are interested in being the first to know the true story of what happened please visit maryceleste.com

Estimated price $50 plus shipping.  2010 pub. date.  No money now.  We will put you on our list.  First come - first served.
